Caterpillar

A large blue caterpillar was sitting on top of the mushroom with its arms folded, quietly smoking a long hookah and taking no notice of Alice.

The Caterpillar, exactly three inches high, questioned Alice's identity, advised her to keep her temper, and told her the mushroom could change her size before crawling away into the grass.
