Euphémie was a black-haired, green-eyed noblewoman with a high forehead, newly widowed after her husband died at Crécy. At a strange feast, she was indifferent and crude, belching when asked her husband's name and tasting a monkey's head. She later slept with Thomas, biting him, and was later found dead in a common grave.
