André was Thomas's squire, loyal through the aftermath of the Battle of Crécy. He rescued his wounded lord from the field, tended him during his convalescence in Amiens, and later discovered and delivered the devastating news of Thomas's betrayal and ruin.
André was Thomas's loyal squire who helped him escape the carnage at Crécy and nursed him in Amiens. He later discovered and delivered the devastating news that Thomas's lands were forfeit, his wife had betrayed him, and he was excommunicated. He was killed by an arrow while trying to aid Thomas in a later ambush.
