Emma LaTour

Emma LaTour was a widow who lived in a cottage across the Yonne river from Auxerre, her husband Richard having died of the plague. Her skin had turned yellow, which she feared was from eating too many carrots. She confronted the Penitents' leader Rutger at the cathedral, challenging his false resurrection of her husband and declaring that only Christ could raise the dead.
