A new lion in Pope Clement VI's menagerie, distinguished by its unnaturally wide-set eyes and a mane with an unusual amount of black. It was observed pacing discontentedly before later being found sharing a cage with the pope's other lion, Misericord, where it stared intently at Cardinal Cyriac.
